First, you need to make a design, which does not have to be complicated. The ideal size of your design is about fifteen inches by nine inches. Choose a place where you can do your screen printing. Work on a small or medium-sized table where you can put all the necessary tools. The supplies you need depend on the screen printing process you choose.
Copy the design in a transparency paper that you can buy at you local supply store when you make your print. If you are making your own screen, you need to stretch the screen on the frame and use nails or staples to secure it. The next step is transferring the design on the screen. Make sure to follow the instructions in the kit in burning the design on the screen.

Afterwards, make sure to use lukewarm water that has low pressure in washing the screen to remove the unnecessary parts. It is important to put a cardboard inside the shirt before placing the screen above it. Smooth everything out and pour the ink onto the screen. Use a squeegee to control the ink and lift the screen to see the design you created. Let the shirt dry and iron it placing a white piece of paper over the print.
